Rehoming my tuxedo cat, Bruce

Description

I am looking to rehome my 7 year old cat I've had since he was 4 weeks old. If interested please tell me about yourself, pet experience, and housing situation. In the past few months, he's been having litter box issues. He had an annual vet appointment scheduled in June and a urinalysis showed crystals forming which would lead him to have frequent urinary tract issues in the future. This is apparently more common in male cats, but is more likely to occur when they are stressed. There have been a lot of changes in my household (people and animals) that I have concluded as the source of his stress and I think he'll do better in an environment with a family that has more time for him. Here are some tidbits about Bruce: * He is now on medicated food (HILL'S Prescription Diet c/d Multicare Urinary Care Stress) * Lover, lap kitty, highly affectionate especially when you're on the toilet, talkative * Everyone who meets him loves him because he instantly tries to get pets and snuggles from them. * He is extremely smart and will likely learn tricks for treats. He used to fetch his little pom pom toys like a dog. * Loves to hangout with you outside when gardening or whatnot or on the roof and he always comes back for breakfast/dinner. * Plays fairly gentle but may nip (if you say "no biting" he'll stop or walk away). * Kids: avoidant/tolerant - my two year old nephew is around often and loves animals. Bruce has learned to stay clear of him since my nephew loves to pick up cats. * Familiar cats: good/fights/playful/annoying - He currently lives with another female cat that he gets along with, but mostly annoys. * Familiar dogs: good/fights/ignores - I have a german shepherd that is more alpha than Bruce, but he doesn't really accept this so there's power dynamic there. She chases him at times and he bats at her sometimes (never any injuries). My brother has a bigger dog that harrasses him more, so if you have a dog already, I would prefer them to be more loving towards cats. * 11 strength, 18 dexterity, 16 constitution, 16 intelligence, 15 wisdom, 18 charisma He is also currently posted on Second Chance Companions if you want to support a local shelter. https://sccpets.com/adopt/adoptable-pets/ https://us09b.sheltermanager.com/service?account=sp1505&method=animal_view&animalid=2461 Thank you for your interest.
