At Harmony Pet Clinic / Central Bark Waukesha, our Enrichment Pet Care Specialists play a pivotal role in ensuring all of the pets in our care are having a safe, enjoyable experience at all times. We focus on offering all of our pups the most balanced and enriched daycare experience each and every day. Pet Care Specialists are also cross trained in our boarding area where you will have the opportunity to take care of dogs, cats and other small mammals. Full-time positions may be available for the right candidates. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Maintain a balanced, safe playgroup environment for all pups in our Enrichment Day Care Monitor dog behavior and oversee dog play in our Day Care Maintain daycare facilities while providing a high level of cleanliness by performing essential cleaning duties. Standard upkeep of play areas and kennel rooms to maximize the safety, appearance, and availability of all facilities. This is an active position and you will not be sitting around during your shift. Shift opportunities morning, afternoon. Some weekend and holiday work will be expected. Greet Customers and make them and their pets feel at home. Provide a positive and safe environment at all times. Work as a team member with other staff and management in providing Enrichment Day Care and boarding services. Requirements: Comfortable working with animals and able to control dogs of large sizes and strength. Highly adaptable to various situations and pet needs. Consistently supervise animals during various activities. Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture. Great attention to detail to maintain our high standards of care while overseeing the pets in our care. Relevant training and certifications. Excellent attendance with reliable transportation through every season. Authorized to work in the United States Must be 18 years or older Related experience in pet care (dog sitting, dog walking, daycare, boarding, veterinary field) preferred but we will gladly train passionate loving individuals. Working knowledge of computers and business software preferred Ability to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, climb, and carry 50 pounds. Physically active position.
