CHAPPELL TRACTOR - BRENTWOOD, NH Position: Full Time Compact Tractor & Construction Equipment Shop Service Technician Chappell Tractor has an opening in our Service Department located in Brentwood, NH for a full time Shop Service Technician. This position involves preparing units for delivery and performing periodic service & maintenance. Repairing equipment including engine, transmission, rear/front axle and hydraulic cylinder overhaul. Diagnose and repair compact tractors, farm tractors and construction equipment in the shop. To be considered for this position, candidates must have prior experience working as a technician in a Service Department at an equipment, truck or automotive dealership. The ideal candidate will have graduated from a technical or vocational school and be knowledgeable with all major mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems found in this type of equipment. Having worked on gas engines, diesel engines and welding is a plus. Experienced in using laptop computers with the manufacturers’ software applications to troubleshoot equipment problems is a requirement.
