We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a motivated and reliable person to join our team as an Assistant Erosion and Sediment (E & S) Control Specialist. Assistant will be expected to perform tasks involving sediment and erosion control on residential construction sites at Cornerstone Homes’ developments throughout the Richmond, VA metro area and Fredericksburg, VA. This position has excellent potential for growth and advancement and is well suited to the individual looking to grow their career in the E & S field/construction industry. Mentoring and training will be provided to the ideal candidate. The ideal candidate is expected to do or learn the following: • Understanding or willingness to learn sediment and erosion control efforts such as silt fence, construction entrances, and straw matting • Perform manual labor and be able to lift at least 50 pounds • Use basic hand tools • Work independently and as a member of a crew on active job sites • Work under varying weather and site conditions • Interested in learning skid steer operation and maintenance All full-time employees enjoy a competitive hourly wage, paid time off, and excellent benefit package.
