L.A. Burdick Chocolates is currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated people, both part-time and full-time, to join our Chicago team located on North State Street. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to join a motivated and professional café team; work in a beautifully appointed, European-style café environment; craft and serve hot and chilled beverages, and present delectable pastries and cakes. Duties and Responsibilities: Diligent and precise in the creation and presentation of product. Pro-active in recognizing business and customer needs and fulfillment of them. Process purchases, handle payments. Able to work some weekends and evenings. Must be able to lift up to 40lbs. SafeServ Certificate required Skills and Traits: Knowledge of POS system Barista Experience Capable of transitioning from a sedate to fast-paced service environment Professionally dressed and well-groomed Work well in team environment Hard working, focused and committed Polite, sincere, hospitable, outgoing and friendly in customer interactions Founded in 1987, L.A.
