Job Description : The Inventory Coordinator takes the lead role in controlling parts inventory across Rentals and Service warehouses throughout the United States and Canada. Utilizing SAP, this person will manage all aspects of inventory including stocking levels, shipping coordination, and transactions for multiple locations Internationally. Job Requirements / Duties · Analyze inventory usage at Rental and Repair Service sites to determine appropriate stocking levels through our SAP system. · Work closely with materials management, purchasing, and production planning to ensure the needs of our customers are met. · Manage the service inventory process and workflow policies to ensure efficiency. · Facilitate new systems of maintaining an accurate inventory count. · Identify, prepare, and submit SAP (ERP system) change requests. · Introduce process improvement initiatives to the inventory management system and other related business processes which help to drive efficiencies, reduce operating costs and increase inventory accuracy. · Investigate inventory issues, maintain inventory accuracy and ensure that appropriate is maintained at each Rental and Repair site. · Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity · Utilize email and phones to communicate clearly with customers and staff · Monitor production and purchasing activities and adjust schedules for on-time delivery · Flexible work schedules, which may include extended work hours Required skills and Experience • Microsoft Office product experience and proficiency – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access. • Proven ability to collaborate successfully within a team atmosphere. • Superior interpersonal skills and communication abilities. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Experience in a manufacturing environment. Preferred skills and Experience • Associates degree in business, supply chain, or other relevant field of study • Experience and proficiency with ERP systems; SAP Business One experience preferred.
