Jazz jam session coming soon

I'm hosting a jam session for intermediate and advanced jazz musicians in Orange County. This will be a regular event, once a month or possibly once a week. Please send an email with your name and number, what instrument you play, and your level of playing. We will need drums, bass, horns, keys, etc. Singers can come too. This is for traditional jazz standards, not fusion, not modern jazz, not blues., not world music. Straight ahead jazz. Bebop, swing, cool jazz, hard bop, some latin (bossa nova) is all OK. You don't need to know 200 standards to play here, I will make it accessible to people who are still in the process of learning the tunes. But please be at a level where you can get through a good amount of tunes, play solos, and sound reasonably good. This event is free, it's at a large house in Tustin, the music goes from 1pm-4pm on a Sunday afternoon. I will keep you posted via email, and we will be going ahead with this as soon as there's enough people to jam.
