Two groups of five bars each compete for Best Bloody Mary while participants compete for Best Costume in historic downtown Cedarburg. Enjoy Bloody Marys while supporting the Cedarburg Friends of Parks & Recreation! Two groups of five sponsor bars each will compete for the title Best Bloody Mary in their group, while participants compete for Best Costume ($100, $50 and $25 awarded for first, second and third place). Participants vote for Best Bloody Mary and Best Costume to determine the winners. Check-in Starts at 10:30am, ends at 1pm Where: Community Center Gym @ W63 N641 Washington Avenue, Cedarburg Age: You must be 21 years of age or older to participate Ticket Price $38 each (plus Eventbrite handling fees) Day Of Price $45 cash, check or Venmo at event ($50 if using credit card) You choose when ordering tickets which group to join. Wiesler’s Lime Cantina Rebellion Brewing The five20 Social Stop at the Stagecoach Inn Union House Cedarburg There are a limited number of tickets available - 350 tickets for the North Bars and 350 tickets for the South Bars.The morning of the event on October 23, bring your QR code ticket confirmation (either on phone or printed out) and your Government Issued ID to check-in. Once you have checked in, you will receive a Ticket to get one Bloody Mary at each of the five sponsor bars in the Bar Group you selected (North or South), a goodie bag, a map of the area (about a 5-block walk for each group) and a wristband to show you've been carded. If you would like to be in the Costume Contest, register at the Check-In table at the Community Gym. You will wear a Race Bib number so voters can identify you. You can register as a Team, so any votes cast for one of the costumes on your team would count toward the whole group (each team member would wear the same bib number). There will only be one First, Second and Third Best Costume so serious contenders may want to venture outside their Bar group area (i.e. North or South) to be seen by more participants to potentially receive more votes.If you are a designated driver, we will give you a special wristband for one free soda at each of the five sponsor bars. We trust you will not drink any alcohol. Participants who paid for a ticket can also request Virgin Marys. **Participants cannot switch groups once tickets are purchased. Participants can go to their five bars in any order but MUST CHECK-IN at the Community Center Gym first. ** Everyone participating in the Scary Bloody Mary Walk will vote electronically and will receive instructions on event day. A valid email address will be required when signing up and for voting, to ensure one vote per person. If unable to use your own phone to vote, participants can stop by the Community Center Gym to use a phone for voting. Voting ends at 3:30pm. Please be patient and courteous and remember to tip your bartenders. They will be working hard to make you the Best Bloody Mary ever! This event may be subject to cancellation in accordance with current health guidelines. If cancelled, refunds will be made; otherwise no refunds will be allowed. Thank you for your support. Cedarburg Friends of Parks & Recreation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization that is organized and shall be operated exclusively for charitable, educational and benevolent purposes including, more specifically, to help with the development and financing of the Cedarburg Pool, Parks and Recreation programs, and Senior Services. In order to accomplish the foregoing charitable, educational and benevolent purposes, the corporation shall conduct, but not be limited to, the following activities: Soliciting financial support for the Parks and Recreation programs and the facilities of the Cedarburg community; Hosting special events to raise funds; Working with the Cedarburg community to develop additional opportunities for the entire community; Educating the public on the importance of a public swimming pool.
