As a club we strive to represent ourselves, The Niner Empire of Portland (“the club/club”), and the San Francisco 49ers with the highest level of class. Acts of hate and/or abuse will not be tolerated. If you experience or witness any of the following behavior at any club event, or on the club websites or social media, please report it immediately. RacismSexismSexual HarassmentAbuse: Verbal or PhysicalIntolerance of a person’s religion, gender identity, or sexual orientationBehaving in a way that disturbs the enjoyment of the event/discussion for other peopleAny other actions deemed to be intentionally hurtful, harmful, threatening, or inappropriateAll parties attending our events are expected to act respectfully to one another. Friendly banter and quick wit with fellow members or opposing fans can be fun, however, keep it classy and respectful. These interactions can escalate quickly. Remember that you are responsible for your own actions and will be held accountable for them. Always be respectful of your fellow members. We are a diverse group of people with different backgrounds and beliefs yet we all share a love for one team! No member shall talk down to or speak in a degrading manner to any other member or event attendee. Disagreements should be handled calmly and respectfully. Always pay your bill and tip the wait staff! Small business owners are kind enough to open their doors to us. Treat them well and show your appreciation by tipping them fairly. Keep in mind that game days can be hectic for the staff. Give them a break and treat them kindly. If you receive what you feel to be poor service, please speak with one of your event captains so they can discuss it with the management. Any violation of the Code of Conduct, or any action that a club staff member finds to be inappropriate or disruptive, will result in the offending member being removed from the event. Multiple offenses will result in a termination of the membership, and a life ban from all club events. Severe breaches of the Code of Conduct will result in an immediate termination of membership. *** Please note, having your membership terminated, or canceling it yourself, will disqualify you from any long-running draws you may have entered.
