ArmaLaser, located in NW Gainesville, is looking for a person skillful in sighting firearms scopes or laser sights. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Our office is located in an air-conditioned professional office building and requires professional appearance, clothing and demeanor. COMPENSATION: Starts at $14/hr with opportunity for overtime, bonuses and raises. Hours are 8:00AM to 4:00PM M-F. This is a long-term, full-time position, we do not offer benefits. NECESSARY SKILLS: • Understand and follow verbal and written instructions • High energy and self-driven individual. • Ability to trouble shoot technical production related problems. • Regularly required to sit or stand for long periods. Regularly required to perform physical work with hands during entire shift. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. PRODUCTION EXECUTION & CONTROL: • Perform production using small hand tools. • Ensure all production parts are adequate before sign off • Maintain the production pace as required by management · Ensure compliance with Safety Policies and Practices · Ensure that all process records are accurate and complete throughout the production process · Ensure that Work Instructions are followed throughout the sighting process · Identify material issues and report to Managers and Materials department · Notify the Office Manager of quality concerns · Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition · Work cooperatively with other team members on continuous improvement effort
