ABOUT THE SPEAKER: Greg Good is a Commissioner on the City of Los Angeles Board of Public Works. In July 2020, he was elected President of the Board. In this capacity, he sets the Board's agenda, serves on the Mayor's Cabinet, and makes the final policy decisions on the Board's budget proposals. Prior to joining the Board, Greg served as Chief of Legislative & External Affairs for Mayor Eric Garcetti. In this role, he oversaw the Mayor’s regional legislative agenda, relations with City Council, LA County, Regional Cities and LAUSD, as well as several offices and the Civil and Human Rights Department. Previously, Greg served Mayor Garcetti as Executive Officer for the Office of City Services and as Director of Infrastructure. Prior to joining the Mayor’s Office, Greg spent seven years at the Los Angeles Alliance for a New Economy (LAANE) as Director of the Don’t Waste LA project and Director of Campaign Communications. Before joining LAANE, Greg was a teacher in the Inglewood and Compton Unified School Districts, teaching grades from Kindergarten to 12th. Prior to that, he served seven years in leadership position at Teach for America. Greg also spent several years in Los Angeles as an actor, writer and producer, appearing in numerous theater productions and films. Greg received his undergraduate degree in history from Brown University and his J.D. from UCLA School of Law. Greg currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Program for Torture Victims (PTV), an organization that provides services to survivors of state-sponsored torture from other countries. Greg is the proud husband of Alicia Hancock, Deputy Attorney General for the State of California, and father of Ruby Jean Hancock-Good. ABOUT THE CLUB: Founded in 1925, the Los Angeles Breakfast Club still thrives with food, friendship, and fun. Our meetings are held in our clubhouse, Friendship Auditorium, located at 3201 Riverside Drive, near the corner of Los Feliz Boulevard, in Griffith Park. Best described as a variety show, attendees enjoy a catered breakfast, silly songs, club traditions, and an interesting presentation from a guest speaker. TICKETS: Sales on Eventbrite close 48 hours before breakfast. Non-members are $25 and Members are $18, utilizing a special promo code. Please arrive between 6:45 - 7:00 AM sharp! Doors close at 7:15 AM. Your admission includes a buffet breakfast and enjoyment of our 96-year-old weekly variety show. The Los Angeles Breakfast Club, founded in 1925 by notable businessmen and entertainment icons, still thrives today with its eccentric traditions and good food.
