Agent Orange w. Urethane, The Anti Virals The Wayfarer Presents 21+ Agent Orange Urethane Agent Orange w. Urethane & The Anti Virals at The Wayfarer The Original Southern California Punk/Surf Power Trio, Agent Orange, is one of only a handful of bands who have been continually active since the earliest days of the West Coast Punk Scene. A small circle of musical rebels who came together to form a movement, they took their place front and center to experience and participate in the explosion of now legendary underground music that was created during the golden era of American Punk Rock. Being the first to combine the melodic California surf guitar sound with the frantic energy of punk, Agent Orange invented the formula that would come to define the Orange County punk sound. Highly influential to many of the bands who have followed in their path, Agent Orange have always stayed one step ahead. Their strong connection to the Action Sports world has resulted in their music providing the soundtrack to numerous major motion pictures, video games, surf and skate films, television, and live sports events. The last of the true independents, Agent Orange have managed to stay true to their roots, while always moving forward. Powered by a loyal following built up through years of explosive live performances all over the world, Agent Orange continue to deliver their Fullblown-Supercharged-Punk-Surf Sound on an international basis, with a never ending schedule of tours in the United States, Canada, South America, Europe, Australia, and Japan. C’mon down front and expose yourself to Agent Orange. Established amidst a global pandemic in the unforgettable year of 2020 comes a brand new punk rock band called Urethane. Hailing from Carlsbad CA, members consist of legendary skateboarder/musician Steve Caballero (The Faction, Soda, Odd Man Out), Dylan Wade (The Bombpops, Surface Report), Chad Ruiz (Skipjack) and Tim Fennelly (War Fever). Part skate punk, part emotionally driven pop punk, Urethane's diverse mix of hook laden, melody soaked songs will have a little something for every fan of the genre. When life changed in 2020 for people around the world, Long Beach punk rock veteran Brian Coakley reacted with music. Hard, fast, politically charged, mad-as-hell-and-not-gonna-take-it-anymore protest music, to be exact. Soon, as social unrest and political upheaval united with the COVID-19 pandemic to create the 3-headed beast that has ravaged the country ever since, Coakley was toiling away on new songs in his home studio and The Anti Virals were born. By the end of the year, the 10-song Brainwashedalbum was complete, set to be released on January 10 to all digital platforms via Nadine Records Media. “The Anti Virals started as therapy—as a release from the anger that welled up inside me from watching so many people losing their minds,” said Coakley, who had a 30-year stint as the guitarist and chiefsongwriter of the OC punk legends the Cadillac Tramps. “The idea was just to record one song in the style of the music that first made me pick up a guitar, to go back in time to the days when I first heard Black Flag and the Sex Pistols. That song ended up being ‘Idiot Nation,’ then ‘Brainwashed’ came next really quickly too, and before I knew it the album was writing itself.” Agent Orange Urethane
