Welcome back to indoor worship at First United! More than a year ago, as a church, we completely reimagined our worship life. We have spent the time since in holy experimentation—learning new ways to faithfully worship God and be in community together. Now, we are embarking on yet another chapter of holy experimentation. On July 11th, August 15th, and August 29th, First United will hold indoor, in-person worship services that will be simultaneously live streamed to YouTube. For each of these worship services, the following COVID protocols will be in place: Masks will be required at all timesEntry to the building will be through one of three doors: the Lake Street sanctuary doors, the south double glass doors near the parking lot, and the glass doors that open directly into the lounge.Our hospitality volunteers will great you and guide you to a specific seatRestrooms will be open and available, but we request that only one person at a time use the restrooms.Fellowship and conversation are available on the patio and lawn following worship, but coffee and tea will not be served.By signing up to attend worship, you agree to follow the COVID protocols as stated above. Please note that we will not have communion at these three summer indoor services in keeping with our usual communion schedule. In addition, singing will be initially limited to solo and small group signing. While we look forward to congregational singing, it likely will not be a part of these first three services.
