Explore and enjoy the sights, scents and sounds of private gardens in the Habersham Woods neighborhood! A garden fundraising event. Welcome to the gardens of Habersham Woods! The gardens are open 10A.M. and close at 4P.M. Suggested donation: $15 With your ticket donation you can visit any of the gardens in any order you want. You can explore one Garden, three Gardens, 10 Gardens, or however many Gardens you want. When you arrive at the first Garden our docent will greet you, give you a wristband, and then you are free to explore the Garden on your own. Your wristband will give you access to all of the participating gardens of Habersham Woods. The address for the gardens will be posted on our Facebook page one week prior to the event, or stop by the tent on Jackson Woods Boulevard by the YMCA to get a list of addresses, or look for the large OPEN signs at each of the ten Gardens. Adoptable pets from Renegade Paws Rescue will be waiting to see you in the front yard of Joel's home at 116 Early Street. Stop by and say hello to our furry(adoptable) friends! About The Neighborhood: Habersham Woods is a residential neighborhood developed beginning in the 1960s on land formerly owned by the J. C. Lewis family, with a variety of building styles ranging from The Brady Bunch, to Georgian, to French, to Modern/midcentury. Located in the heart of Midtown Savannah, the neighborhood is walking distance to the YMCA, JEA, hospitals, restaurants and shops. The large lots allow for an abundance of greenery.
