In this 1 1/2 day information packed course you will be exposed to such topics as roasting chemistry, roasting machine designs, heat transfer and roast progression, managing a roast. Students will experience roasting hands-on with a commercial drum roaster.
The second day will focus on buying green coffee, certifications, regulations for roasters, planning a purchase, roastery design and startup costs.
