My name is Sai and I lead a free community yoga session at Surfside Beach to honor our Black ancestors. “So many tears Mama has cried into this sea, for she lost many children to the tragic journeys on this water. We stand and sit on these sands, survivors, and as we listen to the sound of the waves tumbling to the shore, we can hear our fallen family whispering prayers.
