Tell your Detroit River / Rouge River stories! Planet Detroit in partnership with Friends of the Rouge is holding a Detroit River Storybooth Blitz to record participants’ stories and memories of the Detroit and Rouge Rivers. Participants may sign up to answer a series of interview questions that a Storybooth volunteer will guide them through. The event will provide an opportunity for local residents to share and document their knowledge and insights into the history of the rivers as well as what they might envision for their futures. Planet Detroit will publish these stories. The project aims to highlight the connections that local people have made with the rivers and reinforce those connections by amplifying people's stories. We will be located at the fishing pier in the Detroit International Wildlife Refuge Humbug Marsh Unit. Located at 5437 West Jefferson Avenue, Trenton, MI.
