To the person who stole my phone (Samsung Galaxy S10e in a yellow honeycomb case) out of my work truck last Friday (08/13)...
For whatever reason which compelled you to steal, I hope you get the help that you need.
I also hope you read this so that you can understand that you stole an autistic person's main means of organization. Maybe that phone means a few dollars to you, but for me, it was my way of organizing my entire life. I hope you know that without it, I am struggling. I hope you know that this struggle is not mere inconvenience for me, but rather, more like a psychological hell. It was my system. Now it's gone. I have been locked out of numerous accounts because of this, I no longer have access to my medication alarms or my calendar to keep track of appointments or events... That little device that you so easily plucked from my work vehicle meant more to the quality of my personal well being than I could ever attempt to explain... And I hope that even if you don't do anything about that knowledge for my benefit, that you might at least reconsider the serious effects that your actions have on other people.
