Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 08/07/2021 212190422 Preliminary Information: On 8/7/21, around 4:02 am, officers responded to 620 Peachtree St. in reference to a male shot. Upon arrival, officers located a male who sustained a gunshot wound. Grady EMS responded to the scene and transported the male to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. The shooter remained on scene and is cooperating with Homicide investigators at this time. The investigation continues.  Please keep in mind the above information is preliminary in nature and can change as the investigation progresses and new information comes to light.
