Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 08/14/2021 Preliminary Information: On 8/14/21, around 10:07 am, officers responded to a Person Shot at 410 Andrew J Hairston Pl. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from several gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Grady in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The preliminary investigation indicates the victim was in a verbal dispute at the location when the suspect presented a gun shooting the victim. The suspect was last seen leaving the location in a Gray Sedan. No further description is provided at this time. Homicide Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding this shooting and to possibly identify anyone involved.
