Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 08/14/2021 Preliminary Information: On 8/14/21 around 5:29 am, officers responded to a person shot at 497 Oakdale Rd NE. Upon arrival officers located an adult male victim suffering from a possible self-inflicted gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Grady in critical condition where he succumbed to his injuries. No further at this time.  Please keep in mind the above information is preliminary in nature and could change as the investigation progresses or new  information comes to light.
