With the pandemic I have come to realize that not only humans have suffered but the dogs have suffered as well. It’s amazing to see so many dogs that were adopted out but now that things are opening up these dogs are finding that world isn’t just the wall of their home and it’s pretty scary. A lot of these dogs have separation anxiety and even dogs who were before the pandemic are faced with separation anxiety as their parents go back to work. Let’s face it, we’ve been home with them for over a year! I am also getting many desperate calls about fear and fear aggression. Many people are at a loss. Unfortunately so many dogs are now being rehomed or surrendered to shelters because of these problems and the only reason is these dogs don’t know how to function in the real world. I specialize in behavior modification and obedience. I don’t usually advertise nor do I go looking for dogs but I am learning that people are reaching out to trainers but they are either booked or charging a lot. Leaving dog owners at a loss. Many are tight on money, the pandemic hit people hard. I would like to offer training at a very low rate. I can do board and trains or private sessions. We can talk find out what the best course of action is for you and your dog. I’m really hoping someone in this situation sees this and I can help keep a dog in its home. I am pretty busy but I can definitely take on a few! *If the add is up I am still willing to take a dog in need. I will take down when no more is being accepted
