Hmm. Embarrassing to say, I know, but I don't know why this got flagged earlier. So, here I try again... Hi there! I'm a singer-songwriter who's looking for a lead guitarist, bass guitarist, pianist/organist, and drummer/multi-percussionist, all who are preferably between the ages of 21 and late-twenties and love to go wild onstage when it comes to stage presence, dancing, aesthetics [outfits, jewelry, etc.] -- all that awesome-sauce stuff!! :) I've been fully vaccinated and am itching to start a jam band with some fun-loving folks. Also, I admit that even though I've sung live in the past, have a very good ear, and can write a song in under 10 minutes, I still don't know a whole lot about recording and music theory yet. That's been tough for me to wrap my head around. But that's why I don't care what your level of experience is as long as you're serious about music but also want to have tons of laughs and fun. Speaking of being serious, though, please don't reach out if you: 1. are a poor communicator who often lets messages go unanswered. For the love of God, I really want to work with people who are serious about music and getting gigs scheduled. 2. feel like you need to get drunk and/or high before performing. I promise I DON'T care if you do that offstage though ;) ~ ~ I'd love to jam with you. Although my strengths lie in 50s rock-n-roll, 70s glam rock, and 90s rap, I'm open to any suggestions you have for genres and songs...well, except classic country, extreme metal, modern pop, punk, and trap -- in all honesty. About musical tastes, though: Of course I’m fine with you liking some genres more than others, but it’d be ideal for me if you didn’t want to confine yourself to one or two genres, please. If you don't feel strong about a suggestion I throw out, though, please feel free to voice your opinion. It's definitely important for us all to be on the same page about our sound as a band. Speaking of songs, until more live music opens back up, I really think it'd be good for us all to start with covers, just so we can form an idea of what our sound as a band would be. That said, please send me a list of three of your favorite cover songs to work on :) I really really am sorry to be rude but please don’t reach out just to say you want us all to just work on original stuff instead of covers to start. Keep holding up strong during what's still our wacky world now, fellas. I look forward to talking music on the phone and/or over drinks or something of the like with you...and then rockin'!! :)
