All shelters are overcrowded and some are kill shelters. Many innocent animals are euthanized every day. There are a lot of rescue groups trying to save these poor animals, but there just aren't enough people or groups to do it. The reality is that there are way too many backyard breeders and puppy mills that keep animals in horrific conditions. Abused, neglected, and basically bred to death. Please do your part and don't breed. Please spay/neuter all pets.
