I choose not to live in fear

Description

Sure, I could be one of those people that is so terrified all the time that the only way they can leave their house is if they have a gun. I could choose to see every other human being as a threat and use that as a rationalization to treat people badly. In other words, I could choose to be a conservative. But I choose to trust in God. I choose to think that my fellow man is generally not my enemy. I choose to follow the evidence that the chances of getting shot in a store are millions to one while the chances of dying while driving to the store are only thousands to one. In other words, I choose reason over fear.
