INDOOR CONSTRUCTION JOB. Material handling installation Company is looking for a few hard workers for a mezzanine installation project in Columbia, SC - 29209 We want someone who is willing to work 12 hours (M-F from7am-7:30pm) and if necessary, on Saturdays from 7am-12PM. The number of working hours can vary week to week and can be significantly less than stated above. Overtime pay is included after the 40th hour of each work week. This is a labor intense job and employees are paid weekly as a 1099 independent contractor. (No taxes are taken out, but you will be required to pay taxes at the end of the year as you can write off more expenses during tax time. A few examples write offs include cellphone bill, gas or mileage driven, etc.) Requirements: -Must be able to lift 60+ pounds -Must be able to read a tape measure -Must be able to get basic hand tools if you do not currently have them (i.e., tape measure, nail bag, etc.) -Not afraid of heights -Hardworking (This is typically a crew of around 6 guys and your work ethic will be easily shown) -Have a valid ID and Tax ID number -Have reliable transportation -No experience is necessary, and you can start this week. Usually, the people who do well at this job are the ones with previous experiences as framers, carpenters, concrete and any other hands-on construction jobs. Base pay will start at $14/hr. plus overtime. *This is NOT a one location warehouse shipping job where you pick, pull, and ship products to customers. *This is also NOT a forklift operator job. *This is a physical demanding construction job that requires you to wear a construction hat, steel toe boots, and pants.
