Skilled Progressive Metalcore Drummer Needed To Gig!!

Music is finally coming back and it's time to get some shows going! I have a lot of original material that has been carefully crafted over the last year or so. I have been playing guitar for over 20 years, I'm in my early 30s, and I have pro gear if needed. The second guitarist is also extremely talented and is very dedicated to getting up on that stage asap. I really want to get something going where we can practice like maybe once a week or so, with gigs on the weekends when possible (more often if things are working out well). I have my own place where we can jam like guitars/bass/vox if needed, but if you happen to have a better spot, especially like a place with a full drum kit or something, that's an even bigger plus. I understand that it's extremely difficult to "make it" in the music industry, and I have no delusions about my skills or the industry in general, but it's just something that's always been an important part of my life, and I need to have some form of music in my life. If that sentiment resonates with you, you're probably feeling the same way. The weather is great and small places are starting to open back up, so now is the perfect time to get something together, and work on plans for the future together. As far as musical influences, I would say that Periphery, Veil of Maya, Lamb of God, Born of Osiris, Killswitch Engage, and Opeth are just some good starters. I have a *lot* of my own material already written, ready to go. I can also learn parts quickly, or write my own as well if you have your own material that you'd like to contribute. I'd like to find people in the Northern NJ, Bergen/Passaic/Morris County areas if possible. Anyway, if any of this sounds good to you, don't hesitate to reach out, maybe send some samples of whatever you're working on. I have a ton of samples to send too.
