I am a lead singer/guitarist forming a Beatles and British Invasion based band. My goal is for this band to play everything from clubs to private functions, etc. This is NOT intended to be a Beatles tribute band that dresses or imitates the Beatles, but rather, captures the spirit and vibe of the songs we play, allows us to have true fun, be professional and put ourselves in a position to make money and have this band gig full time. If you are a guitarist, bassist, dummer or keyboardist, please ask yourself the following questions: Can you learn songs quickly? Are you at a truly professional level on your instrument? Do you have real gigging experience? Do you have solid gear and transportation? Are you willing to commit to a full time gigging schedule including the requisite rehearsals needed to put together a tight show? Can you sing? Really sing? Lead and harmonies equally? Can you learn complex harmonies fast and sing them with confidence? If you think you fit the picture, please contact me with links to recordings of yourself singing AND playing. I have led several successful working bands and intend to make this a band that fills a currently empty niche that will appeal to club-goers, private party/wedding folks and pro party planning agencies. I cannot stress the importance of your ability to play AND sing at a pro level. This is not a situation for part-timers or hobbyists.
