Audition for The Boston Cecilia! http://www.bostoncecilia.org/auditions The Boston Cecilia is Boston’s longest-existing amateur chorus, with repertoire ranging from period instrument performances of Handel and Bach to fresh works from contemporary composers. The chorus is comprised of about 60 singers. We are happy to report that we will be holding in-person auditions this summer. Audition Information: Monday, August 30, 2021 — 6:00pm-7:30pm (or by prior arrangement with the Music Director) In-person auditions are 15 minutes in length and include vocalizing, sight-reading on one’s own voice part and singing a solo piece of the candidate’s choosing (art song, aria, hymn, or something in the classical style).
