There was so much confusion about my last post I figured I better put more details. The only reason I'm not keeping him is he does not get along well with small dogs and I have a yappy little Chihuahua that he wants to eat for dinner. He gets along well with my other pit though. And because I do not know his history I don't want to rehome him with someone who has small children. When I first found him I took him to the vet and he was in very poor shape, underweight from mid-back to the tip of his tail he had raw bloody patches. They have given me medicine and all of that is cleared up. He also tested positive for heartworms and when they gave me the treatment plan it was almost $3,000. I could not afford his treatment so I took him into the pound they told me that they were going to put him down. I did not know what to do so I contacted a rescue to see if they could help me with some of his treatment costs. So yes I am the one that found him but yet he is also part of the rescue because I reached out to them and they were kind enough to help.
