Moose is 2 years old, neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots & dog friendly. He enjoys playing with other dogs, spending time with his people, and lounging around the house. He is not a super energetic dog, but he enjoys play time and walks if you’re into daily walks. He is about 70-80 lbs, and totally a gentle giant. He loves playing with kids, and knows how to be gentle with smaller dogs. Reason for rehoming: We work full time and have tried working through crate issues with him, but he is hurting himself. He breaks out of crates and has recently broke a few teeth, and now cut his nose open pretty good. He needs a home where his people are home a lot, or a dog door and free roaming. We got him at 5 months old, he was familiar with free roaming with a dog door. We don’t have a dog door and rent, with a 3 foot fence and it would be irresponsible to put in a dog door. We have tried crating (which he was good with for 1 year), and we have tried free roaming in a bedroom, but he is not comfortable with either of those options and we hate to see him continue to hurt himself.
