Register by August 20, 2021 Agenda 4:30pm: Speeches 5:10pm: Ground Breaking 5:20pm: Light Appetizers and Refreshments Nancy Franco Maldonado Paseo Boricua Arts Building is situated in the midst of Chicago's Humboldt Park neighborhood, the economic, political and cultural capital of Chicago's Puerto Rican community. This cultural corridor, located on Division Street, is bordered by two 59 foot tall steel Puerto Rican flags, installed at both ends of a one mile stretch of Division Street between Western Avenue and Mozart Street. The ground floor of the building will house a local theater company, a community space for residents, a resident entrance with an art gallery wall, a management office, and commercial space. Each unit will have art loft style features with nine-foot ceilings, exposed ductwork, balconies, energy efficient appliances, art work and exhibit spaces. Each floor will have an informal art and gathering space. Please remember to register no later than August 20, 2021
