Ray Bradbury-themed adult spelling bee and happy hour at the American Writers Museum! It's Ray Bradbury's birthday month and we're celebrating by hosting a Bradbury-themed spelling bee and happy hour on Thursday, August 26! Come show off your superior spelling skills or simply join us to cheer on your favorite spelling bee contestant while enjoying a beverage at the AWM after hours. Plus, you'll be among the first to check out our newly upgraded A/V system in Reader's Hall where we host all of our author programs and events! We will be requiring proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test within 72 hours of the event. Tickets are $10 for members and $15 for non-members. Ticket includes 2 drink tickets. The mission of the American Writers Museum is to engage the public in celebrating American writers and exploring their influence on our history, our identity, our culture, and our daily lives.
