Are you a new shooter? Did you recently purchase a firearm? This 3-hour course will teach the fundamentals of safe and effective shooting. Are you a new shooter? Did you recently purchase a firearm? This 3-hour course will teach the fundamentals of safe and effective shooting. This course focuses on removing the insecurities you're feeling about handling a firearm. We will teach how to properly grip, aim, and stand with the pistol. By the end of this course, you won't just look like you know what you're doing, YOU'LL KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING! You'll also learn about the different types of pistols to help you make future gun purchases. We've added a section addressing Constitutional Carry so you can understand your rights and stay out of trouble. The course will consist of a two-hour classroom session, and a one-hour live fire range session. (3 hours total) By the end of the class, you will have practiced the necessary skills to start going to range to practice alone. Also, you will have learned the competencies required to take our other courses. Topics will include: - Fundamentals of Shooting - Safe Handling & Storage of Firearms - Concealed vs. Open Carry - Constitutional Carry Equipment List: - Handgun (rentals available) - Eye and hearing protection (provided by range or you can bring your own) - 50 rounds of ammo (brass only) - Notepad/Pen Please arrange your schedule to be available from 9AM-1PM on your scheduled training day. Sometimes we split the class into two sections.
