Band Beyond Description Outdoors at Rosebud Crazy Horse Presents ALL AGES Band Beyond Description explores the acoustic and electric sides of the Grateful Dead equation under the stars at Rosebud in Nevada City The Third Thursday tradition continues in the great outdoors at an enchanted place known as Rosebud. Only ten minutes from the Crazy Horse, this property is blossoming with positive vibes. The expansive area is perfectly suited to social distancing. Now is not the time for indoor shows so let’s adapt to this alternative which is even better in many ways. Contrary to previous reports, JONNY MOJO WILL BE HERE to lead the band to the promised land. The gunslinging ginger and his trusty sidekick Gary Campus (drums) will be joined by Sean Lehe on guitar (Grateful Bluegrass Boys), Samuel Phelps on keys (Drunken Kung Fu) and Murph Murphy on bass (Stu Allen and Mars Hotel). Special guests include steel guitar legend, Pete Grant who played on the Grateful Dead album “Aoxamoxoa!” We are also thrilled to feature local mandolin hot shot Kyle Ledson and Crazy Horse’s own Tim High on vocals. They will be kicking things off with an acoustic set followed by an electric exploration into the nightfall of diamonds. Unlike the gigs at the Crazy Horse, this one WILL IN FACT START ON TIME at 6:30pm sharp. Please come early, bring a mask, a camp chair, BYOB, dinner and whatever you might like to be comfortable. Please DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG. It’s ultimately your decision, but we think wearing a mask is the cool thing to do while in close proximity to others nowadays. Throwing balls of love and energy from afar is advisable. If you aren’t feeling well or even have the slightest doubt whether you have possibly been exposed to someone with Covid, please do us all a favor and sit this one out.
