Get organized with a Pacing Guide Party! It can be overwhelming to think about fitting your grade level standards into just 180 days with students, but a pacing guide can make the job SO much easier! A pacing guide allows you to create a 'skeleton' for your more detailed lesson plans throughout the year, and gives you an idea if you are on track to fit all your material in or if you are ahead/behind schedule. Come to this completely optional workshop and create a pacing guide for your year! If you are a beginner, I'll help you implement Backwards Design to map out your units for the year. If you are a pro, you'll be provided with supplies to work on your guide for the year. Enjoy food, fun and fellowship as you get organized for the year! The event will go until 5pm, but you can leave whenever you'd like. We can continue the next week if we need more time!
