Join us for the GroundBreaking Ceremony for the New CRTV (Creative) Lab at Shiloh. August 26, 2021 - 3:00pm Friends: Do Greater Charlotte has reached a milestone! We are approaching 80% of our goal for the renovation of Shiloh Institutional Baptist Church! We still have a ways to go, but we have reached a point where we can now begin the process. Join us on August 26th at 3:00 pm, at the groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the start of demolition and construction of the CRTV (Creative) Lab at Shiloh. We are building the first creative co-learning space for kids and young adults in Charlotte. Come hear about the space and participate in the first “swing” of the sledgehammer to start the process. You will also hear about some exciting partners and partnerships that are rallying together to meet the needs of youth on the west side of Charlotte. This co-learning space will be a creative hub offering a home for workshops and boot camps, but will also house a podcast studio, music and video production studio, prototyping/innovation area, entrepreneurial garage, event/flex space, and a community coffee shop.  From building new entrepreneurial businesses to solving community problems through design, the CRTVLab at Shiloh will empower kids with creative confidence and the belief that they can become and do anything they put their minds to.
