Come Join Us For Some Health Care Fun, Tips, and Giveaways to combine with Your Weekend of Fun and Learn How to Invest in Your Own WHealth!! All One "A1" Total Wellness and the Latrina Macon-Norman Scholarship Foundation Presents: "The Historical Orange Mound Love and Wellness Fair"! Hello Everyone! My mentor, Ms. Latrina Macon-Norman and I are planning an upcoming love and wellness health fair in the Historical Community of Orange Mound "ALL" are invited! I believe "whole health" (mind, body, spirit) is the greater form of wealth! And we would love for you, your family and friends, out-of-towners, etc to come out and join us for some much needed health education, food, giveaways, and an overall good time! I'm also an advocate for adding any knowledge and/or education that is helpful and beneficial that may help empower us to make better decisions about our "whole" health overall. I believe we can still have a great time at any time while also enhancing our knowledge of self so that we can be better for ourselves and use our gifts to help others! Please read our "gofundme" story to learn more about our "why". Of course masks will be required and the appropriate sanitation materials in place. I will also have speakers in place to talk about "real" Nutrition (not fad diets), Mental Health and Grief, and Medicare/Medicaid benefits/questions that you may have for yourself or if you're a caregiver. Vaccines will also be onsite. Please support us and share! There are no judgement zones here and we'd really like to create a well-rounded experience besides Diabetes, HIV, and the usual illnesses that may plague communities of color. We want you to be empowered to care for yourself by learning your city and the resources that are offered here. Give us a try and try adding a few healthcare tips to add to your fun this weekend. (We are following COVID news and precautions closely and will respectfully abide by any rules, rescheduling, and/or cancellation requests of events by our Mayors, Health Dept. Officials, and Governor. Your safety is our top priority!) P.S. We're aware that it is Southern Heritage Classic weekend and still encourage you to stop before or after your tailgating fun! The stadium is only 5 min away! We will continue to pray for ourselves and you and yours. May God to continue to bless you with a newer perspective on life and yes....you are worthy and worth it!
