The 100-voice Summer Singers of Kansas City & Chamber Orchestra presents their 22nd annual concert, featuring Mozart's SOLEMN VESPERS
The 100-voice Summer Singers of Kansas City & Chamber Orchestra will perform their 22nd annual concert. Music Director William Baker will conduct Mozart's VESPERAE SOLENNES DE CONFESSORE (KV 339) with soprano Victoria Botero, alto Erica Seago, tenor David Adams, and bass Ed Frazier Davis. The program will also include a collection of short works led by Dr. Baker and Choral Intern Megan Moore. These will include Irish Folk Songs and Sea Shanty arrangements by Alice Park, and Gospel Spirituals from the African-American tradition.
The William Baker Choral Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)-(3) arts organization of the state of Kansas licensed to operate in Missouri and Georgia.
The Choral Foundation is home to the The William Baker Festival Singers, and The New South Festival Singers, Zimria Festivale Atlanta, The Summer Singers of Atlanta, The Baroque Summer Institute, The Summer Singers of Kansas City, and The Summer Singers of Lee's Summit.
