Join Korinne Carpino, Alcohol Ink and Mixed Media Artist to learn to paint Abstract Poppies with Alcohol Inks. In this 2 1/2 hour workshop, Korinne will teach you to use both the fluid and dry properties of alcohol ink to create a stunning 8"x10" painting on Grafix Dura-bright opague white paper. Learn to mix inks with different amounts of solution to create values and textures in the inks, combine colors, splatter inks, and use paper towel to often inks. Class is limited to 4 students so you will receive personal assistance. Come prepared to have fun! Your finished painting will be presentation ready at the end of the workshop! Special Artisans introductory price of $45.00 Level: Beginner+ Materials fee of $5.00 paid in cash to the instructor at time of class. Artisans is an artist co-op in downtown Mount Dora, Florida. We specialize in handcrafted artwork of all kinds. Within our gallery there is a small classroom in which we are offering a variety of classes that are fun and addicting. You will always be able to take home something you created in class. The classes are relaxing and intimate. Please arrive 10 minutes before the class starts. Downtown parking lots are within walking distance. Feel free to bring a non-alcoholic beverage.
