We are seeking responsible applicants to serve as Traffic Control Apprentices (Flaggers) or experienced Crew Leads in our Pembroke Pines, FL facility. What you will do as a Traffic Control Apprentice: Set up and maintain Traffic Control Work Zones to meet customer and DOT needs.Work as a team to ensure proper work zone coverage and safety awareness.Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety.Physical ability to move traffic control equipment, stand and walk in outdoor temperatures for long periods of time.Must maintain a courteous and professional manner with co-workers, customers, and the public.Requirements: Able to work flexible hours with a normal shift of 8 to 12 hours.Able to lift 30 to 50 pounds.Able to be flexible with last-minute schedule changes.Overtime work available and required.
