Come join us as we celebrate the premiere of Chicago's only Black-owned film studio's first project titled, "A Family That.." Chicago, IL -- Filmmaker, C.L. Furlough Jr., has the artistic ability to provoke relevant conversations that inspire the black voice and culture. On Sunday, August 29, 2021, 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at CityPoint Loft in Chicago, C.L. hosts the premier for his Indie film. A Family That . . . which brings to bear his talents for film production and showcases high quality, well-crafted cinematic works to give voice to culturally relevant content and entertainment created for and by African Americans. A Family That . . . tells the compelling story of Marcus, a 16-year-old African American son of a single mom who becomes curious about his family’s history and sets out to meet his father for the first time; on this path he is met with disconcerting truth.
