Run for Rescue Shelter's helpers and Monroeville Animal Shelter are happy to be holding our first 5k run and 1 mile dog walk. We are working together to raise funds to help animal rescues and shelters in the Pittsburgh area. The cost is $25.00 per runner for 5k. $15.00 per runner for the 1 mile dog walk which includes a t-shirt for the runner, dog bandanna, dog tag medal and a paw bag with goodies to include human and dog gifts. In addition to the race there will be food, music, vendors, doggy ice cream, kids activities and more. Plus the best part is local rescues will be bringing dogs that are available for adoption. Come out and join us for a great Sunday morning
