Hello all, I am a new bassist in town, currently based in Boulder, looking for projects to play with. I've been playing a decent amount over the past few months, but would like to fill out my schedule. I play the electric and upright bass and cover styles along the line of jazz, funk, rock, r&b, soul, bluegrass, country, and singer-songwriter. I read charts easily, and can learn parts ahead of time from sheet music. I'm most interested in finding local gigs AND joining a group that is actively creating music and wanting to go big with it (I'm available to tour). I do need to get reasonable compensation for my time, but am down to put in the effort to up-level the music in any group.
