💓Seeking Adopter💓 Sadie is a super sweet girl full of boundless energy and drive. This Australian Cattle Dog(Red Heeler) mix is 2 years old, weighs 40lbs, and is utd on vaccines and preventatives. Her ideal home would be someone experienced in high drive herding/working breeds, no young children, cats, or female dogs...preferably. They are her biggest challenges, she could acclimate with the right person whose willing to keep working on it. I have all of the above and we have managed everyday without incident and continous improvement. Sadie has been in professional training for 3 weeks because she was dangerously reactive towards other dogs, small animals, strange people, power equipment, etc. Although she has made tremendous progress overcoming her triggers and learning to process things calmly her owners feel that their life style is ultimately too busy and challenging for her. We believe its in her best interest to find her a human who has enough experience and patience to help her achieve her best life. One on one she is so affecionate and eager to please. She has a tireless drive to work and herd, and would excel on a farm, or in agility, dock dive, lure coursing, etc. Still she has a nice off switch, and is perfectly willing to be your snuggle buddy for hours. She crates well, is reliably housetrained, and is generally non destructive. She is dog selective and seems to do better with males. She has completed on leash obedience and is very successful managing herself around triggers without outburst as long as shes leashed. She is muzzle conditioned and started on the ecoller.
