DAKOTA COUNTY, MN — Minnesota grew 7.6 percent, or just over 402,000 people, since 2010, according to data released Thursday by the United States Census Bureau. This brings Minnesota's total population to over 5.7 million people. The data shows that Dakota County grew 10.4 percent, or 41,330 people, since 2010 bringing the county's population to 439,882.
