white and light-grey pitbull on I-83 near coldspring exit--ALIVE

Spotted at 9:33 pm 8/14/21 on Northern Parkway (I-83). White and light-grey pitbull with long tail. ALIVE. I was driving in the NORTH and this dog was running in the Northbound lanes against traffic (from approximately the coldspring exit area toward downtown). I had to slam on my brakes and come to a complete stop. I saw this dog make it all the way across the Southbound lanes and then disappear so I'm 90% sure it got into the woods about 2 tenths (0.2) of a mile south of Meadow Mill. After I started driving again, I came upon a tow truck and a car missing a bumper, so I'm guessing the dog might have escaped during that accident. Good luck finding your dog!
