Culver City Crossroads August 12, 2021 Culver City is encouraging residents to voluntarily reduce water usage by 15%. California is experiencing severe drought conditions. Governor Newsom has declared a drought state of emergency in 50 of the State's 58 counties. Everyone is encouraged to use water responsibly and make conservation an important part of their routine every day. How Can You Reduce? Attach shut-off nozzles to all hosesLimit outdoor irrigation to no more that 3 days a week (or less)Make every drop count by watering outdoors in the evenings or set timers to run overnight to avoid evaporation that results from watering during daylight hoursBut don't forget to WATER YOUR TREES at least once a week to avoid tree lossWhat is Prohibited?
