Hello! I'm a songwriter who just moved back to the Twin Cities this year and want to get a new music project going. I've got 20-30 gig-ready mostly original tunes, plus covers ranging from Billie Holiday to Paul Simon. I've been privileged to played with Jazz musicians and prog rock funk shredders, so love seeing how the ensemble changes the songs. My favorite description of the music from a friend and drummer I used to play with is that these songs are "the megadeath of porch music" I don't know exactly what that means, but I'll take it as a compliment. My most recent project back in DC was an Americana trio with a mandolin and fiddle and three part harmonies, which worked really well with these songs, but I'm open to trying any kind of arrangement of the vibe is good and we click. I'd love to form something that plays shows locally and possibly records, but at the end of the day this is totally for fun, and while I'm serious about making good music and sharing it with people, and want to put the work in to make that happen, I'm not also about stressing ourselves out about it.
