Walter is a 6mo old puppy looking for a new home. He appears to be part dachshund and part Australian Shepard. Walter is a very good and loving boy who is fixed and has his shots. We would love to keep him but he can get a little fussy when my toddler plays rough with him (especially at night). Walter has nipped at my toddler which is why we are looking for a new home for him. He is generally good with the toddler but nips when tired so preferably a home with older kids or no kids. Walter is mostly potty trained but occasionally will poop in a particular spot on the carpet in a specific room (so it seems more behavioral than lack of training). Walter is an excellent hiker, camper, and runner. He loves being outside for runs and would love a big yard. He is kennel trained. We intended to be his forever home but with a child I can’t trust him at this stage. We have only had him for about 5 weeks. Please only serious inquiries only. Requesting a $100 rehoming fee and he comes with food/water dishes, kennel, and lots of toys treats and food.
